Our caring team at Monroe Dental Arts strives to provide a clean, safe environment for everyone who walks through our doors. When Is It Safe to Visit a Dentist Near Me?

Check-in Requirements

All visitors and staff must wear a mask and maintain social distancing to reduce the risk of spread. Upon your arrival, we will check your temperature and require you to sign a treatment consent form. If you feel unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment for another day.

Waiting Room Safety

To avoid overcrowding our office, we ask that you please come to the dentist alone, if possible. However, we understand some patients may require assistance during their visit. If you need an escort, please call us ahead of time to let us know you plan to bring someone with you. If we have enough space in the common areas, your escort may stay in the waiting room during your visit. However, if we are at capacity, they will be asked to remain in their vehicle. We provide special accommodations for parents and guardians with children by allowing only one family member in the office at a time.

Exam Room Precautions

Before your treatment, we ask that you please brush your teeth and rinse your mouth with an antiseptic mouthwash. Doing so can help reduce the risk of spreading oral bacteria during your treatment. During each treatment, all dental care team members must wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks, safety glasses, and gowns. Between each new patient, we sanitize all common areas and exam rooms with medical-grade disinfectants. We also promptly sterilize dental instruments and dispose of single-use equipment after each use.
