Never Too Old for a Straight Smile

So many more orthodontic options are available to patients today than just a few decades ago. If you are one of the adults who were not lucky enough to have had braces when you were a kid or if you didn’t wear your retainer and had orthodontic relapse, it's important to know that opting for orthodontic treatment as an adult no longer means brackets and wires.

A straight smile is a healthier smile because properly aligned teeth mean improved comfort, easier care, and fewer jaw issues. You are also less likely to develop a clenching and grinding habit when your teeth come together properly.

Not to mention that a straight smile can add confidence in every interaction – both personal and professional. A wide, bright smile is something that most people are drawn to.

At Monroe Dental Arts, we offer Invisalign invisible braces as an alternative to brackets and wires for our older teen and adult patients.

Fortunately, Invisalign treats most orthodontic conditions that patients face. The Invisalign system uses a series of clear plastic aligners to gradually move teeth into full alignment. Not only will your teeth look straighter, but they will also come together properly, making chewing more comfortable.

Invisalign recommendations include wearing each set of aligners for at least 22 hours per day for approximately two to three weeks each. You can remove your aligners to clean your teeth and eat. You shouldn’t leave them in the car or wash them with hot water because they can warp when exposed to heat.

We will also arrange regular follow-up appointments to monitor treatment and ensure that you are on track for the beautiful, straight smile you have always wanted.

If you are looking for an Invisalign dentist in Monroe Township, NJ, we welcome you to contact Monroe Dental Arts to schedule a consultation to discover if Invisalign is right for you.
